February saw us blessed with the most amazing week of weather! We capitalised with our first multi-day event; a 2-day Camp at SJWMS in Rochester!

The brilliant new clubhouse at the school made for the perfect base to kick off our 2-days with our latest collection of stars looking to advance their games and have a great time during their half-term!

GK Specialist Rich Curtis donned the pads in a special goalscoring challenge and just refused to be beaten! We saw masterclasses in aerials, individual defending and overload attacks from our coaching team that certainly went down well with our stars!

For the first time, we offered the chance for people to try out being a GK with a number of kits available to try. The response was fantastic and subsequently is a permanent offering at all of our future camps.

Once again we were able to throw prizes to all of our challenge winners throughout the two days. Bobble hats (despite the weather!) and snapbacks were the requests of the camp as our prize winners for top-bins, goal celebrations and crossbar challenge all claimed their rewards!

In our frantic gameplay sessions in the afternoons, we saw a dramatic ‘next goal wins’ with our juniors whilst our older group had a controversial penalty decision that saw responses from the National Umpiring Panel and International Umpire resource in @FHUmpire on Twitter!

It was another amazing camp at SJWMS and we’re looking forward to getting back there as soon as we can!
